Lesson Instruction and rates
Instruction is provided in the form of either 1/2 hour or 1 hour long lessons. Generally, 1/2 hour lessons are best for beginners with the student eventually progressing to hour long lessons as abilities improve. In addition to the applied lesson, instruction in music theory will also be provided as part of the music curriculum. This is especially important to facilitate note reading for the elementary player.
Students of all abilities are welcome in my studio, whether beginning or advanced. I teach traditional classical violin technique but enjoy Celtic fiddle and bluegrass as well.
